“I’m not really sure,” he mumbled against her lips. “The last time any of us tried this was when Eric took a mate.”

  She gasped. “Your deceased brother?”

“Yeah, he forced a mating with his friend’s ex-wife. He didn’t know they were divorced until after she came here to visit him. It didn’t end well. But I didn’t force this mating.” He chuckled. “You submitted willingly.”

  “Mmmmm… Yes, I did.”

“So I imagine we’ll compare our experience with that of what we know of Eric’s and try to help my brothers.” He slowly pulled his cock out of her, and they both groaned with the drag of flesh against flesh. “In the meantime, you need to shift, kitten.” He stood and opened the door.

“Oh, right!” She smiled and was going to ask how, but she realized she knew. Within seconds, she was a beautiful mountain lion standing next to Josh who’d also shifted.

  Her mate.

  She was no longer untaken.

I’ll always belong to Josh, she thought.

I like the sound of that, kitten.

She purred at hearing his voice in her mind, feeling his love wash over her.

She never would’ve guessed she’d fall in love so quickly, but it was impossible to avoid when she was surrounded by woods—Josh Woods.

And now she’d get to spend the rest of her life with the one she loved.

  Cabo had nothing on this.

  About the Author

From the sweet stories of first young love to the hot, hot, hot erotic stories and everything in between, Mandy loves to read and write about romance. She dabbled in writing throughout adolescence and justified studying it in college under that wonderful umbrella of liberal arts. Living in Arkansas, she figured writing was a dream and not a career, so when she went back to get her master’s degree, she studied business. It wasn’t until she was staying up late to write—after working full-time, spending time with the family, and studying mind-numbing business nonsense—when she realized something had to give. The love of writing prevailed. She still lives in Arkansas with a few classes shy of an MBA but now with more time to submerge herself in her craft. Visit her at www.mandyharbin.com.
